Vacancy Details:-
There are a total of 200 vacancies available for the post of Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT). The category-wise distribution of vacancies is as follows:
- UR: 83
- SC: 29
- ST: 12
- OBC: 55
- EWS: 21
Pay Scale:-
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 02 of the 7th CPC, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 19900 to Rs. 63200.
Eligibility Criteria:-
To be eligible for the IGNOU Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit:-
Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years of age as of 31-03-2023.
Age Relaxation:-
There is age relaxation for candidates belonging to certain categories.
- SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years,
- OBC/ NCL candidates get a relaxation of 3 years.
- PWBD candidates get a relaxation of 10 years,
- PWBD candidates belonging to OBC/NCL and SC/ST categories get a relaxation of 13 years and 15 years, respectively.
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination and possess a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
