Educational Qualification Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2023
The candidate should possess the essential qualification as of the Closing date of submission of the application.
(i) Graduate or it’s equivalent from a recognised University and
(ii) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.).
(iii) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the Guidelines framed by NCTE.

Selection Procedure Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2023
All applicants who submit an ONLINE application together with the required payments on or before the closing date will be awarded an admit card to appear in the written test without being checked for eligibility.
After the written test, the answer key will be posted on the internet according to the timetable for applicants to submit objections.
The candidates’ written exam scores will be posted on the website.
If two or more applicants have the same score on the written test, the candidate with the better score in the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (whatever name is known)/B.Ed. will be ranked higher in merit. Even if two applicants have the same rank, the one who is older will rank better in merit.
A merit_ list generated on the basis of written exam marks will be posted on the website, and candidates will be contacted for inspection of the original document and verification of eligibility requirements based on such merit.
Candidates to be called for scrutiny of original documents under each category will be 1.5 t_1m~s ( one and half times) the number of posts under each category.
Ment hst for selection will be released after checking eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates.
Selection Criteria Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2023
A merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in the Objective Type Test. One objective type test of 150 Marks will be conducted. Qualifying marks for the test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
