Educational Qualification:
The candidate must hold a full-time degree in Civil Engineering from an Institute/University duly approved/recognized by the AICTE/UGC or AMIE enrolled upto on or before 31.05.2013 from the Institute of Engineers (India), Calcutta and Institute of Civil Engineers (India), Ludhiana Punjab.
OR
Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Pay Scale:
(HPPSC) CIVIL ENGINEER Posts Per Month Salary R.S-15600-39100 /- (G.P. 5400) per month
Age-Limit:
The candidate must be 18 years to 45 years.
Relaxation for Government Servants/SC/ST/OBC/PH & other categories in the upper age limit is per the State government’s rules.

EXAM – SYLLABUS:
COMPUTER-BASED TEST / OFFLINE TEST Minimum pass marks in Computer Based Test / Offline Test (objective or descriptive) are 25% for the candidates of the General category and 20% for the candidates of reserved categories.
Screening test (Offline/Online) of one paper consisting of 100 questions for two hours duration.
BE/B Tech (Civil Engineering) degree level Questions:- 70 questions
General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh:-20 Questions
