Qualification – BMRCL Recruitment 2023
Candidates must have completed (10th) Matriculation and possess a Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Equivalent qualifications in Class-I trade issued by the Armed Forces are also accepted.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS BMRCL Recruitment 2023
1. Fill out the online application, take a printout of the application, paste the latest passport-size photo, sign it, and send the hard copy to BMRCL address mentioned at sl no. XI below. If we do not receive a signed hard copy within the date prescribed, your candidature will not be considered for the written test.
2. The selection will be made strictly on merit, on the basis of a written examination. Candidates are also required to pass a Psychometric test. BMRCL will call those eligible candidates who are shortlisted based on written examination and psychometric test for medical examination and verification of the original documents.
3. There shall be no negative marking in the written examination.
4. The syllabus for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple answers and likely to include questions pertaining to General knowledge, General English, General Arithmetic, Analytical, and Quantitative Skills, and those subjects covered as part of minimum educational/technical qualifications for the post. There will be only one question paper.
5. The question paper will be in English/Kannada and the duration of the examination will be about 120 minutes with approximately 100 questions.
6. The BMRCL, at its discretion may hold additional written test(s) and/or interview/skill test if considered necessary for all or for a limited number of candidates as may be deemed fit by BMRCL.
7. Hall Ticket – verification of photograph on the Hall ticket and verification of original documents, in the Examination hall
BMRCL will notify the date, place, and time of the examination on the website upon which, Candidates may download their Hall ticket and accordingly appear for the examination.
The Hall Ticket will contain the candidate’s name, date of birth and age, post applied for, date of examination and examination center. It also contains space for photographs. Please affix the latest color passport-size photograph in the space provided in the Hall ticket. The Hall ticket comes in duplicate and hence photograph will have to be fixed on both copies. When you go to the examination center at the appointed time, you need to carry both the Hall tickets duly affixed with photographs.
You need to sign on both copies of the Hall ticket in the space provided, in front of the invigilator and the invigilator shall also sign on both copies. You shall give one copy to the invigilator and retain the other copy for your record. You should come to the examination with your Identity Card issued by the Defence. These two are required for verification to eliminate impersonation. If these two are not produced, when asked for by the invigilator, then you will not be allowed to take the written test
8. The written test will be held in the month of June/July 2023 by the Zilla Sainik Board, Bengaluru (date, time and venue will be given in the Hall ticket, BMRCL will intimate through E-mail, SMS and publish in the website to download the hall ticket).
9. Candidates shortlisted for the selection based on merit in the written test will be intimated through E-mail, SMS, and through publication on BMRCL Website. However, BMRCL will not be responsible for a lack of communication whatsoever if any, regarding such intimation.
10.If equal marks are obtained by two or more candidates, then the age of the candidate will be taken into consideration for preparing the merit list. The elder candidate will be shown as senior in the merit list.
11. All candidates shortlisted after the written examination have to undergo a psychometric test. The date, time, and venue of the psychometric test will be separately intimated to the shortlisted candidates. Candidates who are.
