About the Company:-
Assam Gas Company Ltd., a Govt. of Assam Undertaking was incorporated on March 31, 1962, in Shillong as a limited company wholly owned by the Government of Assam to carry out all kinds of business related to natural gas in India. The first gas transportation business started in the year 1967 with the supply of natural gas to Namrup Thermal Power Station of ASEB. Subsequently, the company grew from strength to strength and stands today as one of the premier natural gas distribution companies in India. Assam Gas Company Ltd. industrial consumers in the districts of Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Jorhat, and Golaghat in Assam. It has its present headquarters in the oil town of Duliajan in the district of Dibrugarh, Assam, India.

Educational Qualification:-
- Sr.Manager (Projects):- 1)B.E/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute. AND 2)MBA/PGDM from a recognized Institute
- Manager (Mechanical):- 1)B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute *Candidates having MBA/PGDM qualifications from a recognized Institute will get preference.
- Assistant Manager (Medical):- 1)Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a reputed Medical College/ University recognized by the Medical Council of India *Candidates having higher qualifications will get preference
- Assistant Manager (Sales & Marketing):- 1) Graduate Degree in any branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute. AND 2)MBA/PGDM from a recognized Institute
- Assistant Manager (F&A):- 1) Qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Or Qualified CMA from The Institute of Costs Accountants of Indi
- Officer (HSE):- 1) B.E/B.Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering Or B.E/B.Tech in any discipline with M.Tech in Fire & Safety/Health Safety Environment/ Industrial Safety
- Engineer:- 1)B.E/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute
- Junior Engineer-II:- 1)Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Sr.Manager (Projects): Candidates must possess a minimum of 15 (Fifteen) years of post-qualification work experience including at least 07(seven) years of work experience in the Oil & Gas sector
- Manager (Mechanical): Candidates must possess a minimum of 8(eight) to 10 (ten) years of post-qualification work experience in a reputed PSU/Pvt Organization
- Assistant Manager(Medical): Candidates must have a valid registration certificate (MCI or State Medical Council) followed by at least 05(five) years of Post qualification experience in a reputed hospital/Govt. Hospital/Health Centres/Organizations, etc
- Assistant Manager (Sales & Marketing): Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 (Five) years of post-qualification work experience in Sales & Marketing in a reputed PSU/Pvt Organization, including at least 02(two) years of minimum experience
- Assistant Manager (F&A): Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 (Five) years of post-qualification work experience in Finance/ Accounts/ Taxation/ Cost Accounting/ Auditing etc. in any reputed PSU/Pvt. Organization
- Officer (HSE): Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 (two) years of post-qualification work experience in reputed PSU/Pvt Orga
- Engineer: Candidate must possess a minimum of 2(two) years of work experience in handling matters related to logistics, Transportation, Inter location movement in a sector
- Junior Engineer-II: Candidates must possess a minimum of 8(eight) to 10 (ten) years of post-qualification work experience in a reputed PSU/Pvt Organization in the field of Natural Gas/ Crude oil, Pipeline installation/ maintenance. The candidate having the knowledge to use IT software like Autocad, etc will get preference.
